Don't know a whole lot as to what the value of this is or much about it. What I do know is it is a 1926 National Cash Register, good working order. Model 1852. Weighs around 175 lbs! Would like some insight on this if anyone knows much about them :)
Your register was rebuilt in 1929. (Source is brasscashregisters.net) I have seen these on Craigslist and the owners were asking $250.00. The key word in that, is "asking." In working order, like yours, you may get as much as $100.00 on Ebay. Most sell on Ebay for under $50.00, but you have a good looking and working register. Hope this helps and good luck. Tom
I have the same model cash register. I have been trying to find some information on it and I'm not having much luck. I need some keys for it and would love to have a manual also. Was just wondering if you had any contacts you could share for information. Thanks.
Caution Smuckhappy, Tara may be for real but I shy from those who don't want to register, that's me .................
I'll bet some of these creeps doing robberys where they carry out the register would think again if they faced this thing ! Are you listening Mr. NCR ?
Very nice! What state do you live in?
jasonthebarber, please do tell...........I am sure we would all like to know, I mean that's why we come here, to learn things.
Sorry, that was for a different item......................a barber chair........
