      How did you date this?
    2. larrytolkin, 13 years ago
pop- 99% of actual ww2 trench lighters were produced from 1942 to about 1952. most of the miniature wartime figurals date from 1945-1948. this is based on the 1000 trench lighters i own- some having inscribed dates. ww2 trench lighters were produced by artisans in workshops and sold at armed forces bases as souvenirs. they were not made by soldiers.
