I like the collapsible tin on the left, but they are all handsome. Tobacco tins come in so many sizes and shapes it is hard to have a favorite. I do like the flip open cigarette tins, and have several I'll show later.
These designs have enduring appeal. The red circle of Lucky Strike is instantly recognizable to those of a certain age. The flat cigarette tin should also be in this photo. I have a couple of them, I used them to store postage stamps from one of my other collections. One of my very best tins is like the one in the center. I found it at an estate sale and is probably one the most pristine cans I have ever seen. The tax stamps are perfect, as well as the inner liners and there is a bit of tobacco in it which still has an aroma of freshness.
