I haven't been able to find these in any of my research anywhere. Like what year they are from ? Except for that the box says Detroit ,MI.

Well we know this was before 1963 because that's when zip codes came in.

:) I did enlarge that it so neat to be able to see an ad for it from so long ago. That is real strange that it is in Popular Mechanics mag! I wish I knew who owned it, when it went out or what happened to all the rest of them

Because men were more apt to buy fishing equipment back then I suppose they targeted them through a large magazine like Popular mechanics .
