    I recently inherited this item. In researching I found a similar one on radiomuseum.com. I believe it is a Garod Radio Model 6BU1A "The Senator." It was made by the Garod Radio Corp.; Brooklyn (NY) in 1947-1948.

    Can anyone give me any additional information regarding this radio? History and possible current value?
