Small ice pick. "Klinke Ice and Fuel Co." on 2 sides of handle. "Phone 3-8841 Alton Ill." on 1 side, "Save with a Frozen Food Locker" on the other. I'm believe this was a business in Alton, Illinois as I have found a newspaper ad from 1936. I have no experience with internet research, and keep reaching dead ends trying to find out more about this business. Does anyone have any advice/suggestions? Thank you!

Ref Klinke Ice Pick. Found this site while doing family research. John Klinke was my grandfather's brother making Harold Klinke my mother's cousin. I remember going to the ice house as a kid. Would appreciate learning if you have collected additional information and/or connected with other family members.

Thanks Aimathena, unfortunately we haven't connected yet but I am hoping we do. I have a lot of family ancestry information already and will share it with other family members but naturally I am looking for more.
