La France Bluing was a laundry additive, something like bleach?, that is no longer made. I called this a scoop although it could be known as a spoon.
My Mother used to use this stuff and if I remember right it had it's own distinctive odor.
I put this under the secondary category of kitchen only because that's where Mom used to do her wash.
