Well this old stagecoach trunk has a new life. I took off all the old paint and rust. I removed the paint from the wood and stained it an antique walnut. I do not like painting metal black, so I removed the paint from the corner metal pieces and put on some gun oil for effect. I found an old lock that say "BANK LOCK" on it -- seems to fit the bill. The second picture is the before so you can compare. I painted it a dark green because the black was a little too somber for me. It has a great look -- hope you enjoy!
