This watch was given to my mother on her 18th birthday,in 1924.I have always loved it;and admired it when I was a child. She told me it would be mine someday;and in 1982 it came to me.I treasure it and am fascinated with the unusual clasp.Having never seen anything like it.
A very beautiful watch. Try to find out more about it at: http://WWW.mybulova.com The guys there are very knowlegable about all things Bulova!
Just found your watch on mybulova.com. It is called the Miss America, and actually dates to around 1930, but if you looked inside and look for any marks on the movement to match those on the mybulova data base, you would get a better idea of it's exact age. The date in the caseback refers to the Bulova registration and not the watch itself.
