I've seen this darling little case many times, and ones with other nursery rhyme / story scenes. I have always called them "vintage child's suitcase" -- watch for your LRRH (Little Red Riding Hood) one to come up on ebay -- http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=vintage+childs+suitcase&_fln=1

Are these cases old? They look old. What year is this one from approx.?

Beverly -- I couldn't find a resource site with info about who and when. If I had to make a considered guess, I'd say 1920s-1930s, based on the graphics.

I have that same exact lunch box. I took it to an antique store and couldn't find any information on it.
