Picked this up at a country auction yesterday. Been in the antiqus biz for over 20 years, but Oriental items are not my field at all....Anyone have any ideas on origin? age? value? I have seen these in some book, somewhere....but, where?

It reminds me of the incense burners used by the Catholic church during religious cerimony.
