Primitive Pottery Bird~France~Marked & w/remains of old sticker~Look Familiar?

Hello All,
I picked this up just this afternoon, and it's as charming as can be.
4 1/2 inches high, it has a primitive or ' Folk ' feel to it. Because of the way it's marked, and the bits left of an old paper sticker, I'm guessing that it's got some age to it.
The colors, the painting of it, the gesture,......a nice recipe for beautiful.
Any idea as to it's age or maker?
