A&B Boston Mass. 306 bamboo fly rod

I would like any information you can give. The rod came in an old canvas rod holder. It contained a wooden tube with two tips inside. The handle and mid section were in separate compartments of the canvas bag. The handle has the letters A&B Boston Mass. on the metal part of the handle. also stamped 306.
