I live in an area where art glass is a rare sight. If I see 1-2 pieces a year at local shops or shows I consider myself lucky. Imagine my excitement when I found this.

I purchased this lamp shade at an antique show about 5 years ago. I was initially going to buy a pair, but then the seller raised her price and, alas, I could only afford one.

It is unsigned. The shape looks like Fostoria Glass Specialty Co. The size is correct as well , but while I've read they had pulled feather decorations, I haven't been able to find an example. And I've never seen a pulled/hooked feather decoration quite like this one from any makers I know. I'd appreciate any thoughts. Thanks!

Not Fostoria Glass Specialty Co. I have the book my Murray and there are no shades like this. But it is stunning : maybe Loetz ?

Thanks for the compliments Inky and LB. Good info about Fostoria. I don't have the Murray book, yet.

I believe that Quezal signed most if not all pieces and also flame-finished the fitter ends. The fitter on this one has been ground.
