    Heres a picture for Chessiesol of a nautical light from a catalogue from 1939.This lights looks similar to the picture of the one you posted. The Adlake Company is known for making railroad lanterns too.

      Thank you Mankin,packrat-place,and Kevin. The Nautical Light Company catalogue was thrown in with a purchase of five railroad lantern globes. I doubt if theres another one in existence. Somrtimes it takes a little while for the true value of an item to sink in. Its not something you can attach a price to.
