HI I have this clock and only saw two pictures of this model online. I am going to an antiques appraiser, but I know I can get a better idea of it's value from clock collectors and clock lovers. Can you help me out? I don't know if it works, but knowing the family that owns it i would say yes. The cord is crumbling so I can't plug it in. And I have enjoyed looking at the clocks here. What a nice thing to collect!

Welcome to C.W.! There is a collector here who specializes in these types of clocks. Perhaps he will see your listing and weigh in. In any case, please let us know what your professional antiques appraiser tells you. Hope to see you around!

Hi Ebby, What you have is a Hammond clock, the model name is "Como". As Hammond clocks go it is one of the more commonly available models...sorry. The good news is the face looks to be in good condition; many of these clocks had paint loss near the center where the hands attach. It appears as if someone may have put a clear coat (like polyurethane) on the wooden case without removing the clock first. The reason I say that is because there appears to be dried poly on the metal bezel and even some on the crystal. Honestly, you probably won't be able to go out to dinner on what you would get by selling the clock. My best advice would be to see if you could clean some of the poly off the bezel and crystal and ENJOY IT in your home.

Thanks ejyland for the information. I think I may take your advice and get the cord fixed and clean it up and keep it! Bruce99, I want to thank you as well for answering my inquiry.
