This general style of clock is called the "Novelty" clock. (There is no scale reference but from the dial it looks rather small). Larger versions were referred to as metal mantel clocks. They were very popular in circa 1910-1920.

Not familiar with that trademark on the dial. It looks like a Waterbury but that's not a Waterbury or F. Kroeber trademark. It could be for J. C. Brown, but I'm not sure that he manufactured these kinds of clock cases or movements. Are there any other marks on the case, back or movement?

As far as finding random antique clocks and getting their market value, you might want to check out http://www.antiqueclockspriceguide.com/. There is a lot of free information there to get you started. If you can find a manufacturer, or model name or number you can do a search on eBay for free "value" pricing. You can also subscribe to http://www.antiqueclockspriceguide.com/ to get access to their price references.

      Good luck.

That's a new manufacturer to me. That's one of the things that I really enjoy about this website. If you do a search of "Completed listings" on eBay (check box under the Advanced Search options) for Jennings Brothers Clock", you'll find quite a few hits. That will give you a fair idea of what clocks similar to yours are currently fetching on the open market. It's a nice clock. Thanks for sharing it with us.
