This is my antique chest i cant figure out much other than it is probobly late 1800s
It has many rivets which look like it took craftsmanship along with multiple stickers inside and an old lock style

That is an awesome trunk -- but what kind of covering is it? If it is that old than it should be leather but it looks like vinyl? (sorry it is hard to tell from the picture, just they way it seems to be cracking on the top) A ton of work went into making it. I am sure it is leather and if so then wow! I have never seen one anything like it! Thanks for the post.
Possibly a traveling wine saleman's trunk due to the wine/spirits stickers.
