I got the wooden doll top left at an antiques store for $20....never seen one like that and had to have it...but I cant find it on line anywhere becuase I dont know what to call it..any info would be excellent...I also couldnt find the 2nd one( in white knit dress thin plastic)...I have recently come across some fabulous effenbe dolls they are so beautiful
Your first doll is a Butterick mannequin doll . These were produced during WWII to teach young girls to sew . She came with patterns also . They are very collectible . Please look at my posts . She will be wearing a purple dress the one like yours I have posted and it tells a lot about her and also shows the box she would have came in . She is very nice I love these minature mannequin dolls and have collected them for over 30 years . I will move to next dolls on next post ok .
Does 2nd doll have anything marked on back of neck or on her back ?
Here is my post

The 2nd doll looks to be a German celluloid doll from the Schildkrot (Rheinische Gummi und Celluloid Fabrik Co.) If so, it would have a mark with a turtle on the back of the head or neck.
tku stef ..I will look again for marks xx
