Just found this great old cardboard Christmas Coca Cola store display piece. It stands 6 feet tall and has a real 3-D look to it with the refridgerator door setting open and the suprised little boy standing out in front. I believe it's from the late 40's or early 50's. The condition is quite good for it's age and the fact that it was manafactured to be a one season and then throw away piece. The colors are still nice and bright, but there is a little minor foxing. The easle back is still all in tact and it stands up well.
If you Coca Cola experts out there can tell me anything more about this advertising piece I would appreciate it.
Its listed in Petrett's coca cola collectibles price guide 11th edition page 136 valued at 225$, nice find!
Thanks for the info coke.trevor.cola!
I guess I did pretty good, I paid about half that. It was just one of those things that I knew I had to pick up because I might not see another one.
