can u tell that I just love clocks! my husband says most people have pictures on their walls all we have is clocks! My First clock was a Gilbert black box clock maded my Grandfather in 1901. My father gave that to me in 1971 there wasnostopping after that. I am over 750 clocks and still going but now I can say "I have that one " and yes as you can see I like all kinds of clocks. I like windups and animation. There is another posting coming. Thanks for looking! Misty

Hi AR8Jason, u r right. I am trying to put some order to my collection. I tried to do it by models and found it didn't work and have started to do it by maker instead, it's still overwhelming, but when I look at a clock I can tell you where I bought it and just about what I paid for it and I have been collecting in the early 70's. I do know that I have to organized this collection or as my husband says the kids will have a big tag sale after we are gone. lol

BTW Misty, that's a nice job of shelving that someone did. What's holding up the shelves in the third photo?

I don't think I'll ever stop collecting. I just love the old clocks, if they could only talk and tell us where they have been for the last 100+ years !

Thanks Bruce, I had a wall cut out for that Shelf. Left 10" of the wall (from the ceiling down) then just had him make a shelf following the wall. (more display area for my clocks!) lol I have that shelf in 3 rooms in my house. There is a double sided one that is a archway between my living room & dining room. That ones neat.
