Here is a somewhat obscure recording on an equally obscure label from 1958. The label was located in New York, New York. This was the second recording from the label. The group was The Honeytones. The first recording of the label was a group named The Notables. The songs were"Moonlight and Roses" and "Under thebridge of Paris. I have not been able to locate this one yet.The executives of the label were Aberach, Aberack and Bienstock. Would like information on the first recording if anyone knows any.
Great record!!!
I forgot to say "unsolved Mystery for #1"
Thanks packrat-place. In all your collecting years, have you come across this label or group?
I posted some great 50's rock 45's several weeks ago myself. I think yours is rather obscure, I just looked in my copy of American Premium Record Guide, 1900-1965, by Les Docks, and neither the record or the label are listed. I will keep searching around.
You might find this interesting.

Thanks packrat-place. I appreciate your interest.
Great find. This an early Bigtop release, on older Group price guide lists it at 10-20$, you could probably triple that today. Bigtpop was a smaller NY label but it had some major hits. Don and Juan 'What's you name' plus others and Del Shannon 'Runnaway' to mention a few.
Thanks for the info recordmannj. I have decided to try and find and collect as many Big top 45 rpm records as I can. Your info has launched me on my Quest!!
I love the look of the label and hope I can find many more!
I wish you the best on your quest. That is a great looking label. Do you have the Big Top discography?
I have a partial. Do you have a site where I can copy all of the 45 rpm ?
try this.

Thanks packrat-place!! Off I go !!!
Good luck, my friend, keep us posted!!
This record was distributed in the UK by london records. It had a black and silver label. On the labels it reads recorded by big top records NY.. Unfortunantly the pink label version or US version is not very sought after but the UK pressing sells for about $50 to $60 USD. It is not a fast seller but it can reach this price in VG++ or NM condition.
Love doo wop ! Great 45 :-)

I recorded many of them to CD and put away . I will alert you when I get to them I promise :-) I have hundreds and hundreds of LPs also but got rid of most of them . Kept my favorites maybe a hundred but 45's I still have several hundred . I come from a music family and I really like the 45's the best .
