Helminauha means "pearl necklace" in Finnish. The necklace here being the circle at the base which is where these items stand on.

I love this design because of being made of pretty thin glass in spite of a quite thick base, as well as for the "circle of pearls"at their bottom.

Ok so it had this "beaker" top, clear color but eith two stacked spheres on the bottom. It was pretty thin, almost like medical glass which was throwing me off. Plus I was hungry and crabby. I have remorse of not picking it up. I might make a quick trip out there tomorrow to see if it is still there. Arggggg!
