The very first Jema Clock I happened across was the (403) Double Angel fish clock that I found in an antique/ second hand goods store & I purchased it to place above my fish tank in the loungeroom. That night I did the research & found that there were not very many jema holland clocks made at all (82 types only), I had a look on Ebay & was surprised to find the Spotted leopard clock for sale (fell in love with it instantly) & was pretty much hooked on the Jema Clocks from then on, As it was my first bids ever on Ebay, needless to say I missed out on the Spotted Leopard ( will regret that until time ends) however not all that long after this (425) double Parrot Clock came up & yes I outbid the rest & won the auction. Well that about did it for me & somes up this story nicely because from this clock on I was a totally committed Jema Holland Clock collector, I just love it, being Australian we have lots of Parrots just like these, & this is the clock that cemented me on the path to collecting over 43 of them now & I also have 13 of the Jema Holland lamps, (See my page) Its been 8 years of collecting & I have even built my own website at www.jemaholland.com to showcase them, & to think, it all started from this clock the (425) Parrot Clock
