      Even Better

This is an old (early 20th century)streetlight lamp.
Just type in Ceramic Body radial wave lamp.

I seen almost the exact one in a Brooklyn shop once.... not cheap to say the least.
I have seen a lot of incomplete fixtures being sold of less elaborate styles over the years. You don't see many complete like this.

What does the name plate say?
Oh.. I gave you an answer on your chairs yesterday before it got deleted. Did you get that?

I did get your replies and I greatly appreciate both of them, especially this one. It's funny, I always imagined this in a Brooklyn apartment or restaurant. It says "westinghouse enclosed arc lamp style no. 36045" I'm in Brooklyn from time to time, what shop did you see it in?

So if you type that in goggle you will see it with the carbon rod.
So its from 1890...I was good 20 years off.

It was in a little shop in Red Hook. It was priced close to 2k. Im From North Jersey and have friends and family scattered through the 5 Boroughs .

That light is really a gem. I don't know how the guts look, but you would be hard pressed to find one in that shape.

With the chairs...Its hard to get an exact answer on them. Pullman owned 100's of trains back then. Their themes varied with first class furniture. Most of the private restored trains today are not redone to exact print when it comes to furniture. I would say you bought what you were told.
