This is One of Two Cast Iron Head Moulds I recently purchased.
I am trying to figure out what, where & when this item was used, and hopefully the item that was produced from it. It is Olive Oyl, there is some engraving on the inside lip of mould (as shown) Production date 1957.

    Measures: 4-1/2" tall x 4" wide

If anyone can provide me with more information it would be greatly
    appreciated.

    Thank you~
Please take a look at my other listing, I believe that one is Mortimer Mouse, as he has teeth. (and looks older)

I can read: ......... Inc V31/57 Olive Oyl C (copyright).
Is there something more at the beginning?

What I have read on the inside of this item,
      King Features
      S.Y Inc
      1/31/57
      Olive Oyl

Can anyone offer any more information about this item? Thanks

Is it for a Gund hand puppet?
The image of Olive is licensed by King Features still today and is a "Unit of Hearst Corporation".

Gund have been producing soft toys since 1898 out of Edison, New Jersey.
