Does anyone know what these may be? Both were found in the earth and are made of ferrous metal. Probably insignificant but I've kept them so long I thought I might find out what they are. That's a piece of cord hanging on the front item but it may not belong there, I'm pretty sure it's not a mouth harp.

I'll take a stab at the top one and say bottle opener.

I agree with Bootson for the bottle opener. The second may be some sort of ornamental piece, like part of a wind chime...????

The second may be a handle pull, for like a pull chain toilet. The first I think is a Milk bottle opener. The pointed tip would be used for the caps that fit inside the neck to lift the tab, an the round part to lift the caps that were applied over the top of the bottle like a cap.

This is just a guess but I seem to think the third item is a yard stick??

      Sorry, I couldn't resist, :-)

It looks like its part of towing to me almost like it would hook on to the ball on the back of a truck or a lawn mower.

Wow! Nice response for such mundane objects. Thank you everyone.
I agree with rocker-sd and bootson that the top item is some kind of opener and milk caps seem perfectly logical.
Thank you fhrjr2. I have pictured this in several of my items and you were the first to guess it right!

The second item appears to be a sash pull or possible a bell rope pull for a church bell or dinner bell.
