I found this in a box of items I picked up. This is a 1923 Tootsie Toy No. 4629 Ford Sedan. This is the year they introduced the new disc wheels.
This is original, not a later reproduction.
As you can see, it is a little beat up from years of use. The back wheels are missing and the paint has some issues. May by I will find a set of wheels some day.
The yellow one I took from a article on The History of Pre-War Automotive Tootsie Toys by Clint Seeley to show what this one should look like and is for reference only. Despite its condition, I like this little guy, and it will take its place on my desk.
If many more items take their place on my desk, I will not have any room to get any work done.

Packrat-place : I love these old cars models. They have many details, they are beautiful and the best is that there is a rich variety of them.
