1675 french coin unknown metal

I have got this coin and found some information on internet about it. But the metal does not look like silver, it has light yellow colour. The other strange thing is a little hook on the reverse. I strated to think this is not a coin, but something else(?) I wonder if you could please help me to identify this object. Many thanks
