      This piece is from Mexico, or somewhere very close in Central America. It is a tourist item, the design is similar to Pre Columbian pottery, but is was made in the last 30 years.
      It is not valuable. I am sure it meant a lot to your family, and because of that it means a great deal to you. All the best

      I had looked around online and I do believe it is from around Mexico,
      but I know for a fact that it is older than 30 yrs. I took This to school with me in the second grade and I am 50 and My Father also said he remember this piece being around his mother's house most of his life, My grandfather had a second hand store and My Father believed that it came from his store.
