hello
well i found this glass bottle in the woods. it is a glass bottle and encraved these two words jim beam. i searched a lot at ebay even at other websites collectibles but in vain. the only thing i found is one guy who found the same bottle when hiking.
please i need your help.
Please turn the picture the correct way, it is difficult to look at.
i did fix it ok
thank
What does it say around the neck, I can't read it, and is there any other embossing on it?
here are more information
around the neck there is nothing special. but the opening of the bottle there is like a hard plastic that is tightly linked to the opening.it looks like a cover.
at the 4 edges of the bottom there are 4 embossings written as 1.75 liters.
now the base of the bottle there are three set of numbers like 8 7 875
i have never seen a bottle with numbers at the base. it is strange.
for the words jim beam it is written twice only. it does not cover the 4 sides.
thanks
I missed something! The bottle I see is round. Where do four sides come in to the picture? This is about as clear as mud to me. Did a different picture get put in after the requested change???
Honestly, I would say minimal value. It is not rare or hard to find. The "87" on the bottom could very well be a date code. Appears to be a quart ot half-gallon.
The bottle isn't listed in the Jim Beam collectibles. Their corvette decanter is the most rare and on a good day they only fetch around $150 to $200.
hi here are 3 more pictures. the first shows the opening of the bottle. there is some plastic inside the opening which is too hard to take off. the second pic shows that the bottle has 4 sides on its base. so the bottle is not round. the last pictures shows the neck and its form plus the opening. please what i want to know right now is where i can find information about it. i have gone to jimbeam website and checked all the bottles the new and old, i really dont find it. and what kind of bottle is it? is it whisky or beer? or at least which year was produced.
thank you guys for your information and advice.
The plastic insert should tell you it is not old. It isn't listed in Beam collectibles. It appears to be a common liquor store bottle.
If you are of the opinion it is valuable you should buy a copy of JIM BEAM BOTTLES, Identification & Price Guide. That way you will be sure you have the correct information.
well i will check that book. for me it is just curiosity. it has nothing to do with money. i did not find it both in new and old bottle references. that's it.
so i will try books may be i will find it. lol
but in the meantime if you come across it, please help.
thanks
