going through my grandmother's jewelry, i found this and a few other cameos that looked really amazing and preserved.
does anyone have any info on it?
we believe its a Portrait Porcelain brooch/pendant, hand painted, with a sheet of glass set onto to cover it. silk on the back, but no markings.

    any guesses? thanks!

Good Afternoon, I think there are some marking on it, ( on the lower bottom there is a circle soldered to the filigree frame). It looks like 800 which is for Silver (It also looks like it has been gilded/vermeil so becareful not to clean it). I think it says PSCO under the 800. Which stands for Plainville Stock Company. You can google that and get more info. Nice pendant!

I have seen this style with the white highlights often attributed to Italy, May have been imported to PSCO but the painting is very Italian vintage 1930-60s in style.
