This sign is more art than anything else, having been used to fill a low spot in a driveway that kept potholing, it was dug up when grading the driveway some 60 years later.
It was in Wilton, Ca where this sign was unearthed and resurrected.
Call me if you know if there was a Flying A in Wilton,Ca

I had this sign mounted on my 1912 craftsman brick bungalow and the red, white and rust against the red clay brick was like it was designed for the spot by Renoir.

They had Flying A ASSOCIATED Gas stations all over the western united states so, yes they probably did have one there. That is a great one to save like you have!
Here is a pic of the Eighteen foot long ASSOCIATED gas pump canopy porcelain sign that I had. Flying A is my favorite old gas brand.
