I picked this etching up at a second hand store, and for the life of me I can not find any thing about the artist and if it has some value, all that I could find out was that it is a native etching and its call , Shy little girl,,, I would sure appreciate your out put on this etching that is on a 18x24 paper. Thank YOU EVER SO MUCH.
Here is a link to a gallery in British Columbia. I read that they feature his work. They have a contact us link where you can email them for information.

What is "a native etching"? It looks like a pen and ink wash to me. If you've done a search and can't find anything about the artist, chances are, the value is what you paid for it.
Looks like I may have spoken too soon! LOL
He is also listed here Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada as being affiliated with saulteaux tribe. Information on him seems to be out there but mostly on Canadian web sites.
It looks like a print off of one of his pieces of work. Does not look like the original from photos. TG
This is a copy of "Trust" by Don Laforte.
It was published as an open-ended reproduction by Odjig Prints in the late 1960s or early 1970s.
It sold for $20 and that is the approximate value it has today because of the nature of its publishing.
Thank you every one for the help
Your's truly
