This is an art from Qin dynasty, one of my grandfathers collection. It was well preserved and has a high value because of its rarity and beauty.

I think you meant Chinese Qing or Ching dynasty (1644 - 1911) instead of the Qin dynasty (221 - 206 BC). The overall workmanship is considered above average and one of the better pieces so far in Collectors Weekly, but nowhere near the peak of jade craftsmanship during Qianlong reign. I'm inclined towards late Qing to Republic for dating this piece. Cherish this as a memory of your grandfather.

These qianlong jade vases have skyrocketed in value due to all the molded glass copies. Never seen one marked qianlong before. If it's stone it is real rare. They have a glass one, warm to the touch, air bubbles, at our local antique store marked $450.00 and owner said if it were real $4,000
