We have had this lamp in our family for about 70 years. It is an electric/gas lamp and appears to have been originally made that way. The gas tubes and electrical box are soldered together and appear to be the same age. I'm guessing than that it is from the 1900 time period. I have not been able to find another lamp like this one with the gas burners. If it had the shades on the gas burners I'm not sure how attractive it would be. I am interested in who the manufacture of it might be. I have checked the whole thing and I can't find any identification. I know my grandfather got it from an elderly friend upon his death. He lived in Manhattan. The lamp has been in storage in our basement for about twenty years as we don't have any place to hang it as it is quite large. I would really like to know who made it and what the current market value might be. Any information would be appreciated.
