    The story goes when Lincoln came to town he would stop by and have a seat in the rocking chair. I wanted to restore it and get some history on it.

      It has a cushion tacked to the back that folds over the front and a seat cushion both i think were added much later. The joints are in bad shape from age and being moved a dozen times. I couldnt find any markings other than a pencil signature from a previous family owner on the bottom. If anyone knows something like key words or timeframe I would appreciate it. Hopefully I can find someone to work on it.
