Five months ago - ish I found my first piece of Scandinavian glass. Kosta Boda Snowball. These are all the treasures I have found since then. I believe that I have individually posted all of these. You might notice a few are missing...several (five!) found an unfortunate demise involving my husband. He claims accident, but I have my suspicions. One other, the Ultima Thule pitcher went to a good home.
This whole grouping makes me totally and completely happy. Imagine what I can find in a years time!
I joked that I could have a snowball fight in August...thinking it could happen. Thanks to all at CW who introduced me to my new obsession!
Hahahaha! Post all of your Scandinavian finds for the last five months. I'd love to see the sum total. It is so bright and shiny when they are all together.
Love ya babes!
Can't believe that you've found this all in 5 month's time! Really beautiful pieces. Bravo!
So very sweet mikkoChristmas! I love to thrift so it is always a pleasure to find something to shoot for. Something that I enjoy and can learn about. I think this is what makes CW such a wonderful site. People really want to help you learn and grow. I know I have benefited from many people's experience and passion. I am grateful for it.
Plus it is really fun!!!!
Mmmm, and I see you have a nice Sidse Werner's Åkande for Holmegaard :) I love it. She's the one who designed my yellow heart vase (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/39156-hjertevas-sidse-werner-holmegaard-197?in=user) and the Regiment decanter (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/40492-regiment-decanter-sidse-werner-holmega?in=user). A great designer not only for glass. I wish thrifting was that great in Madrid! :)
