I have 5 ESPN posters that where promotion pieces for cable companies in the "80's. The sample shown is for football but I also have one's for tennis, boxing, soccer, basketball and hockey. I have not been able to find out any more information about them and was wondering if anyone has ever seen these. My dad worked for the local cable company in the 80's and got this promotion pack and we found them when we where cleaning out his apartment after he passed away. That's all I know about them. Thank you.

Looks like artwork by Bart Forbes. My guess is that these would be quite collectible, especially by those who collect sports illustration posters, as opposed to photographic posters. It would be nice to see some of the other posters.

Any idea of value or where I can find info about Bart Forbes and possibly how or when he did these posters?

Are they all Bart Forbes illustrations? Google Bart Forbes, and you'll see many images of his amazing illustrations through the years. I have no idea of their value.

Found out that the posters where done by Bernie Fuchs who is no longer with us but I still have not found a value for these. I'm interested in whether I should keep them or find a good home for them.

Oh! Bernie Fuchs! He was awesome too. I just assumed when I saw that 'B' it was Bart Forbes. Glad you found out the info. They both were popular illustrators of the 70s and 80s, and are very talented. I have no idea of their value. If I had them, I'd try selling them on eBay, or at least seeing if there are similar posters for sale.

I have been trying for months to find them on ebay or somewhere. Now that I have the artist I did find some of the original paintings that the posters where made from but not the posters themselves. I did have some "poster collector" a while back offer me $10 each for them but I declined. Thanks for heading me in the right direction for more info.

You know, you can buy very inexpensive poster frames, it might be a good idea to frame them, then list them on eBay. They will preserve better flat, behind glass, and perhaps you can get a better price for them. (of course, shipping them might be a problem, but it would certainly make it easier for you to photograph and display). I have no idea if it would be better to try to sell them as a group, or separately. I really am NOT an expert in any way on posters. But I do think that posters by some of the top illustrators of the last century would make someone a nice addition to a family room or rec room. Good luck.
