First one is a Junghans 9" and takes batteries on the bottom. I like the shape. This one says Kundo & is 10"x*' different shape too

I've had several now of the one shown in the LHS picture and like the clever idea involved with its hidden battery compartment underneath the base. The locking mechanism is clever and useful.
