    I found this item at swap meet paid 30.00 for it it look to be hand carved and the picture is sign by J. BERNARD . On the back it is stamped J.BERNARD PARIS. Dose any one know any thing about the frame and the picture? Thank you

      That is a great walnut frame. It looks to be late 19th- early 20th century, while the photograph appears to be early 20th century.

      If possible post some pictures of the back of the frame and of the photograph out of the frame and I may be able to provide some more information.

      I think the photo is contemporary with the frame and both date from the first quarter of the 20th century.
