      I used to "Hand Paint" this type stuff at home at night as a second part time job. It sounds really important but when you turn out 10 or 15 an hour people don't believe it. I also did simulated scrimshaw for Artek wild life series as well as some whales teeth.

      It is done by hand but not what you think.
