I found 2 of these plates and I'm not sure of their age. They show images of colonial shops. Can't find a date on them the backs are copper. show a logo a big R inside the R is circle reading PHOTO ENGRAVING METALS inside that is the image of a silhouette of Paul Revere 1801 , below reads: REVERE. Also on the back Reads: Edes triplemetal plus.
Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty awesome printer plates. It would be nice to see a better photo of both of them! You might also post a photo of the reverse, because the hallmark is often where the best clues come.
I have a 4 by 5 inch wooland etching on the same triple plus, 1801 REVERE. The one you have seem to be deeper and more detailed. Mine has a protective plastic fim over it. Hope some one knows more about them as it doesn't seemed to be signed. I feel like it was raw material that factory workers used as a hobby.
