What might these be worth?
What is the best/easiest way to sell such items?
What year do they date from?
Both are in mint condition with no scratches or rust.

What you have is two Canadian coke serving trays. Tray in pic one was made in 1957 with 3 other coke trays, but its the rarest/ most desirable of the 4 in its current condition prob worth some where around 100$. The other tray was made from 1950-52 (first coke tray to be made after world war two) a pretty common tray they produced alot of this tray, but in this condition prob worth somewhere around 50$. Hard to say whats the best/easiest way to sell these, i know ebay would most likely be the easiest way, but not the best way......
Pretty sure their canadian trays check pg 88 they made french versions of them, and I see these trays in my area often. Also the second tray is not a 325$ because your looking at wrong one. He has the screened background tray, not the solid background tray. The first tray may go for 300$ mint condition in your area, but I dont think it would sell that high in my area. Hopefully Spriteboy will give his opinion on these, he will know if their Canadian trays.
The "Umbrella Girl" tray is Canadian. If you look in the thin gold band below the image it will say "printed in U.S.A" on the right hand side and Coca-Cola Ltd. on the left. So made in U.S. but for the Canadian market. I would value one in this condition at $300.00. The other tray I would say is American because the only thing printed in that band is"Printed in U.S.A.". The background on my tray seems a little lighter as well but this is definatly the screened background. Worth $50.-$60.
Looks like the young buck was right lol, although i was off on the price for Umbrella tray, im surprised to hear its valued that high... only reason im saying this is because i just watched a 1932 tray in excellent condition sell on ebay lower than that, and its book valued for 1200$. Im pretty sure buddy wants to know whats the true value of the tray, not what the books value it at. I think we all know a excellent condition 1932 tray is going sell higher than this Umbrella tray any day....
Since were on the topic of Canadian trays and US trays i wanted to ask you Bill about the 1938 tray. Was it a US printed tray, but made for the Canadian market as well?
The 1938 tray as with most of the trays from that era had both Canadian and U.S. versions. The only difference being the writing in the band below the image. Some say Coca-Cola Co.1938 and some say Coca-Cola Co. of Canada Ltd 1938. All were made by The American Art Works Inc Coshocton, Ohio. One exeption to this is the Gold rimmed tray which is a 1936 tray in the U.S and a 1937 tray in Canada.
Okay thanks for the info very helpful.
Ray, I can't actually see the writing in these photos but I know it's there. I looked at my own trays to make sure I got the wording correct. I have never seen one of these umbrella trays that didn't have Coca-Cola Ltd on it. Maybe Rongra could respond and let us know if it's there.
Correct.
Rongra here. The ' umbrella girl' tray has 'printed in USA' on the left side of the gold band and ' Coca Cola Ltd' on the right side of the gold band. I will try a take a close up photo of this.
My sister has discovered she has five additional trays... I will try and post pictures for feedback from those more knowledgeable than us.
Does anyone know the value of my Canadian coke trays, etc, etc? They are in Pretty good condition, I think:
