    I found these 2 items in a box of junk I bought at an estate sale. Can anyone tell me anything about them...age, where they were made, and maybe they're worth??? I am keeping them as part of my knick-knack collection, but would like to more about them.. thanks for any input you can give me!

      `I do know that the end of the "lid-flipper"....( little ball) ,on silver one is sterling silver, but no marking on the rest of the torch!

      Hi, I have the entire piece that goes with the copper item in this pic. It is the alcohol heating element to a teapot on a stand fromn 1898. Here is a pic:
