The first FM vinyl doll is dressed in a Versace creation.
The second FM Diana doll is porcelain and is wearing a Catherine Walker ensemble called The Elvis gown.
We find a 1975 Mego Cher doll in Madame Butterfly (rare).
This is a Mattel Cher doll called Ringmaster. Based on an outfit she wore in her Farewell tour. Only 993 were produced world wide. Outrageously priced I lucked out and bought one directly through ToysRUs @ $45.
Clcik the red X for the pix !~
Hello, I have stumbled on some dolls that have porcelain heads, with partial shoulder to sew it to the cloth body, porcelain hands and feet. I am not to computer saviey and am unable to find a site that offers a photo close to what i have . If this sounds familiar or if you know a site to visit please let me know. feel free to share my E-mail if you know another person that might help. Thank you
Hey Jerry....I know exactly what kind of dolls you described. I have 2 Diana dolls made like that but I am sorry to say I really do not have a clue about information. The Cher doll club is eclusively plastic & vinyl but Yahoo has a Princess Diana doll club that may have info BUT I left the group because a questions like yours would be scoffed at. Kinda' sad really. All I can suggest is to google 'professional doll makers' or 'amatuer doll makers'. Maybe 'how to make dolls' . Good luck....I just found this small Diana doll on eBay. I have it and it is exactly what you described. Bad pic though.
