    I found this item while scrapping metal. I knew it was too precious to scrap, so kept it. Am now in the process of having it appraised.

      I am curious to know what it appraised for. I have a unit similar only there is a row of boxes going down each side of the window. Mine is from a post office in Maryland and is dated 1931. Same manufacturer. So glad you saved it! :)
