Well at last I have been able to find a few good matching bases for some shades in my collection.
I must say it is very difficult to find one that is just in the same style and period... but I do think I have found some.
A stunning brass trumpet shaped base which really completes my green star shade....I love the green and brass together.
The other shade I have found a nice base for is the little red with white globe, this is a flashing round base.... nice match red and chrome.
The next I have found is also a round base. it is a bigger one and very much suited for the star shades.... I like both the red and the white in it...
I still can not choose...
The last so far is the first shade I have posted. I have been thinking very long what would match this shade... and a few weeks ago I bought an Art Deco lamp, its shade didn't match the base.. I have put my shade on it and now after a few days I think it goes well together...
Any comments on my choices ae welcome...
also negatice ones..
Thank you, czechman.

Thank you, miKKoChristmas11.
I have a lamp shade like the multi-colored star shape in the picture. Mine has a little more red and dark blue in it. It was my mothers, and I was told she bought it in Detroit. Do you have any information regarding the maker you could share with me?
There are a number of art deco lady holding the glass ball up lamps that I have seen with about 3 of these shades, similar to this.
