These are very nice clocks and yours is a beautiful example.

The general style of clock is called a "Crystal Regulator" and bratjdd's advice to you will turn up many examples.

Here is one which is very similar right down to the urn, hands and pendulum style but there isn't much more information other than selling price:

      http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/5825555

Some auction lots are attributed simply to "French" others simply CLOISONNE, or Chinese Cloisonne. If maker information is generally available, auction houses will definitely market it.

If you don't get more information here, try taking it in to a good clock shop for and evaluation. It might need maintenance and perhaps the owner can give you more information.

Please let us know what you find out. Good luck!

You all have been extremely helpful. Thank you so much.

It is a Chinese Cloisonne & Brass Mantle Clock.

Welcome to Collector's Weekly and thanks for letting us know what you've found. You posted some great photos of your item!

Crystal Regulators are within the larger group of "Mantel Clocks". They always have brass frames and thick beveled glass. The tops and bases are where some of the variety is displayed: Brass, a variety of Hardwoods, Porcelain, Onyx and Cloisonne are some of the materials that I'm familiar with. There may be others.

Hope you'll stick around to show & tell us about more of your collectibles. Perhaps you'll be able to help another collector or visitor with something.

Glad that your mystery was solved! :)
