This is an antique car jack I've had since 1983. It was my great grandfather's and I received it after he died. Is this a Model T jack? I found one on ebay but it was a tri pod jack. Does anyone know what something like this would be worth? I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!
No much later than a model T. Most likely the 50's. I have one too but I can't remember the name on it. Worth? Seems nobodys interested. Thats what I found out, and I don't have the heart to scrap it, so.....It's still in the swap meet trailer.
I had one of these, used it a couple of times, car slipped off of it ! Relegated it to trailer tounge duty and sold it with the trailer ! Dangerous thing !
I have a King Dick No.B1322 single lift jack have you any idea which acr it was for and approx. value. Many thanks
I have a tripod version of this jack that I have used to pull fence posts. Two legs are too unstable to be safe but would work for light duty use where failure would not be dangerous. I think the only way it could have much value is if you could find out it's original use. If it was standard equipment with a particular car it would be of interest to anyone who is restoring that type car.
I don't know where you are (State) I am in Florida and this looks a LOT like the one that I gave away when I sold the tralier it was with, the trailer was made from a Model 'A' front end and a 70's chevy truck bed, it was blue and had some amber running lights added on the front sides............it is still a dangerous jack....
got the same type here, used to open heavy garage door's
